Unfortunately, I woke up not remembering my dreams except
for the fact that Koren, Grace and I were in my dream. I think there were
others, but they were just blank faces. I woke up around 10:00 a.m. this
morning to the screams and yelling from the upstairs neighbors of Giuseppe.
To start our day off Ian and I
played some Soul Caliber IV. We’re dom’ing through it with all the characters
to see whom we can unlock. It’s pretty fun except when we have to play as
someone who sucks. Then we went to Tully’s Coffee to get some Wi-Fi since
Giuseppe doesn’t have it at his apartment. I got an Iced White Chocolate Mocha,
which was pretty good. It was a lot less sweet than Starbucks or Dutch Bros,
but still good. We got on the interweb and I checked my grades for History.
Turns out with out doing a bunch of the quizzes and having my paper late, I still
managed a 75% in the class overall. I was impressed, but still slightly sad it
was a C. I know I can do better. After that I had an epiphany and realized that
I am pretty darn close to a Psychology Major Degree and that by switching I may
get out of college a bit sooner than expected… maybe… So, I am definitely going
to be praying about it and waiting for God to speak in my heart about what
direction to go in. We also tried to look up how to unlock all the characters
in Soul Caliber IV, but the interweb at Tulley’s was horrible and slow.
Eventually,
we peaced out and went back to Giuseppe’s apartment and watched the second
episode of Sherlock Holmes. It was pretty good. It was about a Chinese
Syndicate that used smugglers to get stuff into and out of London and China and
other places. But, when they smugglers would try to leave they would kill them.
Pretty intense. It’s turning out to be a pretty sweet t.v. show. I think I will
continue to watch.
When
we were done we played a bit more of Soul Caliber and then went over to
Giuseppe’s church because they were having an Invisible Children event where
they showed the “Kony 2012” video which was the first time I’ve seen it. When I
first heard about it, I thought it was a weird idea, but after watching the
video and hearing why they are going about it they way they are, I agree. I’m
praying about what that will mean for me. What does hearing about this and
having a better understanding of this will bring for me and what God will have
me to do about it.
We
hit up In and Out Burger after the Kony 2012. In and Out Burger is not as good
as everyone makes it out to be. After the two times I’ve had it while staying
in California I’ve felt sick. However, their fries are pretty dang good. We
came back to the apartment and watched The Boondock Saints.
The Lord is Good.
